Details:Vibratory hammer is used for sheet piling at a construction site of Tung Chung New Town Extension. With the implementation of 6 sets Piling TMD, sheet pile vibration reduction of 9-14dB from 630Hz to 1250Hz were measured at the 1st, 2nd and 3rd piles next to the driven pile. The noise reduction of ~7dB(A) averaged noise level and ~9dB(A) maximum noise level were measured at 7m and 22m from the sheet pile.
